Position Overview 

HealthEdge is on a mission to drive a digital revolution in healthcare. As a Resource Analyst within our Global Professional Services (GPS) Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and forecasting the utilization of our highly skilled workforce. 

Our scope of resources falling under one unified capacity planning is rapidly expanding. This role is essential for ensuring that the right talent is deployed to the right client implementations, advisory services, and custom code delivery teams at the right time. You will work closely with GPS leadership, project managers, sales and account executives and team leads to drive operational efficiency, minimize bench time, and support proactive resource management. 

Key Responsibilities 

Resource Management & Optimization 

  • Capacity Planning: Coordinate and maintain unified capacity planning and scheduling data for 1,200+ resources across multiple global business units. 
  • Staffing Allocation: Evaluate incoming project demands and match them against resource skills, availability, and experience to recommend optimal team structures. 
  • System Migration Support: Help manage and maintain scheduling databases within SPP/OpenAir and related Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools, ensuring high data accuracy during time-entry and forecasting system alignment. 

Data Analytics & Reporting 

  • Utilization Tracking: Monitor and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly utilization metrics (billable vs. non-billable) across the organization. 
  • Forecasting: Identify future resource supply vs. project demand gaps, proactively flagging potential staffing constraints or bench-time risks to GPS team leads. 
  • Operational Insight: Author clear, trend-focused operational analysis to help leadership make data-driven decisions on hiring, cross-training, and delivery strategies. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Global Team Alignment: Partner closely with regional delivery leads and coordinate with international teams (including India-based engineering and operations groups) to balance resource demands. 
  • HRBP & Finance Partnership: Align with Finance and HR Business Partners to ensure resource allocation matches budgetary guidelines, headcount requests, and ongoing organizational scaling plans. 

Required Qualifications & Experience 

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in resource coordination, workforce management, or business analyst roles within a software or technology-driven environment (Healthcare IT or SaaS enterprise experiences are highly preferred). 
  • Tool Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with PSA (Professional Services Automation) software or enterprise tracking tools (e.g., OpenAir,/Suite Projects Pro NetSuite, FinancialForce, or Mavenlink). High proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling) is required. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for finding patterns in complex schedules, timesheet tracking data, and forward-looking utilization curves. 
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across time zones. Ability to partner comfortably with executive leaders, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fully remote, globally integrated matrix environment where priorities shift iteratively. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior experience working within a Professional Services or Consulting delivery organization. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare payer ecosystems or care management terminology (such as HealthRules Payer, GuidingCare, or Wellframe). 
  • Experience assisting with organizational migrations or scaling resource tracking databases during company mergers/acquisitions.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $94,000 to $99,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
