Purpose of Job
This position will be pivotal in supporting the organization's staffing and consultant operations by managing resource requests and aligning talent with project requirements. Reporting to the Director of Staffing & Operations, the Staffing Specialist coordinates resource assignments by balancing professional skills and goals with project requirements and timelines. Additionally, this individual will support consultant operations, helping manage day-to-day activities beyond staffing assignments.
You'll Own & Deliver
Partner with Managers and Partners to strategically staff client projects with the right talent mix
Develop deep understanding of consultants' skills, experiences, and career aspirations to facilitate meaningful project assignments
Maintain and monitor resource management system accuracy, reconciling planned allocations against actuals to minimize revenue leakage
Curate an up-to-date skills database by ensuring consultants regularly refresh their profiles and collaborate with the Staffing Manager to identify workforce skill gaps
Monitor timesheet compliance to support accurate KPI reporting and billing
Support the US campus and experience new hire onboarding and resource integration
Maintain comprehensive oversight of project health and resource utilization through timely reporting
Proactively find issues or gaps in our staffing and resource plans and bring to the attention of senior leaders
Build reports and develop ad-hoc analyses to answer dynamic staffing and business questions
Translate complex metrics into actionable insights for leadership decision-making and stakeholder communications
Create a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation
Perform additional duties as required to support client needs and internal team requests
You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field required
2+ years of experience in consulting, resource management, or operations within professional services or management consulting environments
Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to derive insights from complex data sets and translate them into actionable recommendations
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, complex formulas) and strong capability with PowerPoint, Word, and other business intelligence tools
Able to incorporate new tools such as AI and AI Agents, and use them in innovative ways to help gain insights and solve problems
Demonstrated excellence in balancing multiple competing priorities while consistently delivering high-quality results
Superior relationship-building abilities with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Proven project management expertise with experience coordinating resources and timelines effectively
Adaptable problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and approaches challenges with creativity and resourcefulness
Strong business ethics with the discretion to handle confidential information appropriately
