Our client is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Research Attorney to join their innovative legal team. This firm has distinguished itself in the legal industry through a series of successful case resolutions and a commitment to client-centered practice over the past several years.
This is a 100% remote full-time position, where you will provide critical research and litigation support, requiring a professional who can adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment of active court proceedings.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of case-related matters.
Draft, review, and revise critical legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and court briefs.
Provide real-time litigation support to the lead attorney during court appearances, often needing to pivot quickly to address emerging needs.
Participate in daily morning stand-up meetings to align on priorities and case developments.
Requirements
A law degree (J.D. or equivalent) or extensive experience as a high-level paralegal.
Demonstrable experience in legal research, writing, and drafting within the US legal system.
Proven background in providing co-counsel support and litigation assistance.
Familiarity with US court procedures and legal documentation standards.
Qualifications
Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.
Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a high-pressure environment.
A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of shifting priorities seamlessly as case demands change.
Strong sense of empathy and an interest in developing a trauma-informed approach (training will be provided).
