Reporting Accountant

Job Description
As a Reporting Accountant, you'll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. The Reporting Accountant is part of the Center of Excellence (COE) controllership team. A dynamic team that supports accounting operations across all business units performing technical accounting research, internal control for financial reporting (ICFR), governance, financial reporting, financial reviews and special projects. Our ideal candidate will bring his/her accounting expertise to build and scale processes for best-in-class performance supporting the growth of the company.

Qualifications
What you'll do:

• Compile monthly financial reporting packages and regulatory reporting.
• Assist in G/L and report maintenance
• Build and maintain financial and key performance indicator reports.
• Manage stakeholder financial reviews with support of the accounting and FP&A teams.
• Support year-end and interim audits performed by independent auditors.
• Maintain financial trackers, record management, and financial calendars.
• Support implementation of GAAP.
• Lead special projects covering process optimization, implementations and integrations.

What you'll bring:

• 4 years experience in accounting with at least 2 of those years in reporting
• Compliance/regulatory reporting
• CPA or MBA plus
• Oracle experience and Oracle OTBI/Hyperion Reporting experience a plus
• SEC Reporting a plus
• Familiarity with technical accounting topics and consolidation principles
• Advanced excel and documentation skills
• Financial services industry experience a plus

Work from home/hybrid:
We are proudly offering hybrid options in the San Mateo, CA and Phoenix, AZ metro market. In other locations throughout the country, we offer work from home.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000 annually + benefits.
