We are looking for a Remarketing Manager, Midwest Region to join Element Fleet Management.   As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Remarketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind the sales of vehicles across the Midwest territory. You’ll maximize value for our clients, build and sustain trusted auction relationships, and act as a market expert while representing Element. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships, and has a sharp eye for value. If you want to influence business outcomes while traveling across the Midwest to auctions and industry events (50% travel), this is the role for you. 

A Day in the Life

  • Lead Remarketing Strategy: Oversee the sale of all vehicles within the Midwest territory, ensuring top results on pricing, speed, and client outcomes. 
  • Build Relationships That Matter: Cultivate strong networks with auctions, vehicle suppliers, and partners across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. 
  • Be the Market Expert: Provide insights and analysis on market performance, vehicle valuations, and competitive trends. 
  • Deliver Client Excellence: Negotiate sales to achieve the highest return for clients, while upholding Element’s policies and standards. 
  • Partner for Success: Collaborate with internal Remarketing Operations teams to deliver seamless execution. 
  • Represent Element: Host and support client events at auctions, showcasing our expertise and commitment to results. 

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in an vehicle auction or remarketing environment, with a deep understanding of new and used vehicle markets
  • Ability to travel, by car, within assigned territory (Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio) 50% of the time

  • Results-Oriented: Driven to meet and exceed goals while working independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and able to learn internal Element systems 

The hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
