About the Team
This Regional Vice President serves as the external face of Empathy’s partnerships, helping advisors and their firms activate Empathy through the carrier products that include our solutions. This role brings together direct advisor outreach, hands-on support for key distribution partners, and training that equips advisors to confidently introduce Empathy to their clients. We are seeking Regional Vice Presidents in the Southwest, Mideast and the Northeast territories.
- 2–4+ years of experience in life insurance carrier distribution, estate planning solutions, or advisor-facing roles within carriers, IMOs, BGAs, or wealth management firms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and partnership in a fast-paced, mission-driven company.
- Proven track record as a wholesaler, regional vice president, or account manager in the life insurance, annuity, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the carrier-advisor ecosystem and how value-add solutions are distributed through existing insurance products.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to educate, motivate, and influence financial advisors who represent carrier offerings that include Empathy.
- Experience conducting field meetings, CE events, and webinars for advisors and distribution partners.
- Ability to manage a territory independently while maintaining high standards of accountability and communication.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience using CRMs and reporting dashboards, preference towards experience with Salesforce.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, client success, and internal sales teams.
- Comfortable with video conferencing (zoom, google meet, etc), Powerpoint/Keynote, Slack
- Soft skills - experience with consultative selling, ability to build pull through across multiple distribution channels, comfort presenting in front of various sized audiences of advisors (10-200), strong emotional intelligence.
The salary for this position ranges between $200,000 - $250,000 which includes base salary and variable components. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
