Position Summary:
The Regional IT Manager provides operational leadership and strategic direction for IT service delivery across all office locations within the region. Leading a distributed team of Desktop Systems Specialists, the role ensures that end user computing, local site infrastructure, and front-line IT support services are delivered consistently, reliably, and to a high standard across all sites. The Regional IT Manager drives team performance, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement, while serving as the primary regional IT representative to employees, site stakeholders, and the wider global IT organization. The role collaborates closely with counterparts in other regional IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Desktop Systems Specialists located across multiple countries within the region, establishing clear performance expectations, providing regular coaching and feedback, and fostering a high-performance, service-oriented team culture.
Ensure the operational readiness and reliability of all end user computing and local site infrastructure across the region, encompassing user devices, local networking, server and facilities technology, and workplace systems at each office location.
Direct regional IT project delivery, including operating system and software rollouts, hardware lifecycle programs, site-level deployments of new corporate initiatives, office relocations, site closures, and new acquisition integrations, ensuring consistent execution across all locations and effective collaboration with other regional IT managers.
Oversee IT service quality and performance across the region by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators and service level standards, using stakeholder feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
Manage the employee IT onboarding and offboarding lifecycle for the region, including hardware provisioning and asset lifecycle management, ensuring a consistent and efficient experience across all sites.
Coordinate with specialist escalation teams to serve as the regional operational interface for infrastructure changes, ensuring the team is effective as the on-site hands for infrastructure delivery.
Manage vendor and third-party service provider relationships relevant to regional operations, including hardware suppliers and telecommunications providers, ensuring accountability against commitments and escalating issues as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent progressive professional experience.
5+ years of experience in IT operations, end user computing, or systems administration, with at least 2 years in a people management or team lead capacity.
Demonstrated experience managing geographically distributed IT teams across multiple sites.
Solid working knowledge of end user computing environments, hardware lifecycle management, and enterprise networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, wireless, VPN).
Proven ability to plan and manage IT projects across multiple sites simultaneously, including OS and software deployments, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure changes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage credibly with employees and business stakeholders at all levels, and translate feedback into actionable improvements.
Ability to travel across the region occasionally to support team visits, site projects, or acquisition and relocation activities.
Ability to accommodate occasional cross-timezone collaboration.
Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, a location within reasonable proximity to a regional office. This is an office-based role.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or similarly complex global corporate IT environment.
Experience supporting infrastructure changes in partnership with specialist escalation teams.
Exposure to IT operations spanning multiple countries or international office locations within a matrixed organization.
Experience managing IT workstreams through a corporate acquisition, office relocation, or site closure.
Familiarity with ITIL or equivalent IT service management frameworks.
Familiarity with asset lifecycle management processes and IT procurement practices.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $120 - $150k. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
