Job Description:

At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. Cloudera is the enterprise-trusted data platform that brings AI to data—wherever it lives. We deliver a unified cloud experience across multicloud, data centers, and the edge. With a customer-centric approach, our platform is built with security, governance, and real-time predictive insights at its core—empowering organizations to unlock the full value of their data. With data under management exceeding hyperscalers, Cloudera is the partner of choice for the world’s leading companies across every industry.

We’re seeking a seasoned, transformational Regional Vice President of Sales to lead growth across the Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, and Healthcare Provider verticals. This role is ideal for an experienced enterprise sales leader with a passion for building high-performance teams, scaling repeatable go-to-market models, and driving transformational outcomes for Fortune 500 clients.

You’ll lead, coach, and inspire a team of experienced account executives, driving top-line revenue growth across software subscriptions, renewals, and professional services. This is a high-visibility role at the center of Cloudera’s go-to-market execution and customer success strategy.

As an RVP of Sales, You will:

  • Drive growth and expansion across a defined portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer executives, including C-suite stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute business and customer success plans aligned to each customer’s goals, value drivers, and transformation priorities.

  • Recruit, develop, and coach a world-class team of sales professionals—fostering a culture of accountability, execution, and excellence.

  • Lead large-scale transactions, from opportunity creation through negotiation and close.

  • Champion Cloudera’s value proposition in data management, AI, and hybrid cloud, delivering measurable business impact for customers.

  • Implement scalable, repeatable sales processes and GTM frameworks to accelerate growth.

  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, alliances, and customer success to ensure holistic account engagement and retention.

  • Drive accurate pipeline management and forecasting across the business.

  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitive trends, and emerging technologies to continually refine strategy.

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 15+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding revenue goals.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise sales teams.

  • Deep experience selling into the Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, or Healthcare sectors.

  • Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Strategic mindset with strong operational discipline—able to drive structure, focus, and results.

  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Strong knowledge of complex enterprise sales cycles, subscription models, and value-based selling.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to frequently travel domestically and internationally as needed.

  • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
