POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Revenue Management. The Director of Regional Commercial Excellence oversees pricing recommendations, frameworks, and demand forecasting for resorts within the region. The role sets the regional Revenue Management (RM) strategy and roadmap, leads seasonal target‑setting, owns pricing strategies/promotions/frameworks, and ensures accurate pricing execution and inventory‑informed price adjustments. Partners closely with Regional EVPs (REVPs), Resort Presidents (RPs), regionally aligned analysts, Product Leads, and other Regional RM Directors to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining forecast accuracy.
This position can be located remotely anywhere within the region it supports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Planning & Budgeting (Commercial)
Help Regional EVP set regional RM strategy and roadmap; outline the seasonal strategic plan across resorts to maximize profitability
Lead target setting in line with broader RM targets
Own pricing strategies, promotions, and frameworks
Collaborate with Resort Presidents to ensure alignment with vision and strategy; run stakeholder meetings (e.g., REVPs, RPs) to drive desired outcomes
Business Performance Management
Oversee pricing recommendations and demand forecasting for non‑Ikon visitation, SRS, and rental products; work with regionally aligned analysts
Collaborate with Resort Presidents to select final prices for products and offerings; convene meetings as needed to ensure alignment
Provide frameworks and best practices for F&B and retail products; partnering to develop tools and best practices to equip resorts with the right tools for offering and price selection
Oversee pricing execution: ensure prices are correctly uploaded and activated; troubleshoot challenges in pricing execution
Oversee inventory management for non‑Ikon visitation, SRS, and retail products; manage inventory with analysts and resorts and dynamically adjust prices based on inventory levels
Post-Mortem Analysis & Review
Track performance and adjust pricing recommendations and strategy as needed
Monitor revenue growth, demand‑forecast accuracy, and profitability; dynamically adjust prices as needed
Develop insights and action plans and drive execution to meet revenue targets; leverage advanced analytics and scenario planning where appropriate
Financial Partnership, Tools & Training
Partner with REVPs to provide demand forecasting and pricing recommendations that guide strategy and operational decisions across resorts and product offerings
Collaborate with Resort Presidents and leadership teams to finalize and execute pricing; provide pricing frameworks for F&B and retail
Oversee performance of non‑Ikon visitation, SRS, and rentals analysts; provide support where needed
Share best practices across regions with other Regional RM Directors
Coordinate with Product Leads as they develop and price product offerings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive experience in pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, or closely related fields within multi‑site consumer services (e.g., resorts, hospitality, rentals, retail); proven impact on revenue and margin
3–5+ years leading and developing high‑performing teams (analysts/managers); builds clear goals, feedback loops, and best‑practice sharing across regions
Deep expertise in pricing strategy and promotions, demand forecasting (time‑series, seasonality), and yield/elasticity concepts; able to adjust strategy quickly to changing demand (e.g., weather events) and inventory positions
Strong financial acumen: P&L drivers, margin/yield, ROI, forecast accuracy; translates insights into action plans and course‑corrections
Advanced analytical skills and tool fluency: Excel/Sheets (advanced), dashboarding/BI (e.g., Tableau/Power BI or equivalent); SQL useful; Python/R a plus
Demonstrated experience operationalizing pricing at scale: price build, QA, upload/activation, monitoring, and issue troubleshooting in coordination with resorts and analysts
Proven cross‑functional influence and communication skills with executives (REVPs, Resort Presidents) and partners (Commercial, IT, Tooling/Best Practices, Product Leads); facilitates alignment meetings and decision forums
Strong program/process orientation: establishes frameworks, governance, and standards; designs tests, measures impact (profitability, forecast accuracy, market share for rentals), and institutionalizes learnings
High bar for data quality, analytical rigor, and controls; comfortable with scenario planning and making time‑bound decisions with incomplete data
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams across a seasonal cadence
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Analytics/Statistics/Economics) with a focus on pricing/revenue management or quantitative decision‑making.
Experience: 10–12 years relevant professional experience, including 3–5+ years of people leadership; background in hospitality/resorts, travel, multi‑site retail, or analogous capacity‑constrained businesses strongly preferred.
Experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or investor relations is strongly preferred
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base salary range (may vary by location): $127,000 - $185,000 per year
