Mark43 is growing its sales team and hiring enthusiastic, ambitious Regional Account Executives (RAEs). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about bringing modern technology to law enforcement and understands the value of enterprise SaaS solutions for government agencies.
As a Regional AE, you will partner with our Business Development team to identify and engage mid-sized public safety departments. Your work will involve initiating conversations, scheduling product demos, and driving those opportunities toward signed contracts.
To succeed in this role, you should understand how cloud-based SaaS tools can improve agency workflows, increase operational efficiency, and modernize public safety operations. You’ll be expected to promote our products with conviction, actively pursue qualified leads, network to uncover new opportunities, and manage multiple sales engagements at once with discipline and focus.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales with mid-market public safety agencies through demos, relationship-building, and problem-solving rooted in integrity.
- Master Mark43’s value proposition, competitors, and buyer needs to deliver targeted, persuasive pitches.
- Lead prospects through the full sales lifecycle, including travel for in-person meetings and navigating public procurement processes.
- Build and expand your territory network through cold outreach, referrals, events, and other channels.
- Track and manage all activities in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Represent Mark43 at trade shows, conferences, and industry events in your assigned region.
- Continuously evaluate and improve your sales strategies, tools, and personal performance.
What You Bring
- A strong commitment to supporting first responders and public safety professionals
- 4–5 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience in the public sector.
- 1 year in a cold-calling or Sales Development role.
- 3+ years in inside or field sales, with experience traveling for in-person sales.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas and advance within a sales organization.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prospects and deals simultaneously.
- Experience working remotely or from a home office.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Degree in criminology or prior work experience with a public safety agency strongly preferred.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
