Essential Responsibilities:
With commercial leadership, build consistent strategies focused on commercial process improvements; drive achievement of their orders and sales targets and drive rigor in order and S&I funnel and overall forecast accuracy.
Utilize creative and analytical skillset to help package commercially available offerings and customized client solutions.
Partner with the commercial organization around executing commercial plans, operating mechanisms, data reports and KPI’s to support key business imperatives focused on improving efficiency and the quality of commercial processes
Ensure pricing policies are consistent with business objectives and are widely communicated and reinforced, including management of Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing compliance through escalations.
Lead & assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements focused on simplifying commercial processes impacting funnel management, orders performance & revenue execution within the business
Drive the Markets to work cross-functionally with Operations, Deal Hub Care Alliance on deals.
Assist in analytics related to overall business planning and business development focused on execution of operating plans, market performance metrics & business performance
Assist in the development of portfolio management tools and metrics leading to more robust deal decisions and predictability.
Provide Policy 5.0 / 6.0 training and updates to the commercial team(s) supported.
Partner with Commercial Leaders to drive profitable growth by leveraging pricing analytics, commercial metrics and other measurements; driving teams toward portfolio management.
Lead simplification and process improvement efforts to support achievement of business objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
Undergraduate degree in a business discipline with 5 or greater years of experience or 10 years of experience in a related field.
Strong analytical skills; able to clearly link operational performance drivers to financial results, generate alternatives, articulate Price – Volume trade-offs and drive positive change.
Demonstrated experience with prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment.
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving pricing compliance / GE Values.
