About This Role:

LiveKit is looking for a Talent Coordinator & Sourcer to support our growing team by owning the day-to-day execution of hiring and ensuring an excellent candidate experience from first touch to start date.

This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who wants real exposure to sourcing, coordination, and hiring operations at a fast-growing, technical company. You’ll be the backbone of our hiring process—keeping pipelines moving, candidates informed, and interviewers aligned—while also supporting lightweight People Operations work tied directly to hiring and onboarding.

This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role with room to grow into Recruiting, People Ops, or Talent Partnerships over time.

What You’ll DoTalent Coordination & Recruiting Operations
  • Own interview scheduling end-to-end, coordinating across time zones and busy calendars

  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a clear, timely, and thoughtful candidate experience

  • Maintain a clean, accurate ATS, including stage progression, notes, and interviewer feedback

  • Support offer coordination and pre-boarding, partnering with Recruiting, Finance, and Hiring Managers

  • Track pipeline health and flag bottlenecks or risks early

Sourcing & Early Talent Engagement
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to source candidates for open roles (LinkedIn, outbound tools, referrals, inbound screening)

  • Conduct initial resume screens and outreach for priority roles

  • Help build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs

  • Draft and update job descriptions as roles evolve

Onboarding & People Operations Support
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics (documentation, systems access, equipment readiness)

  • Maintain employee records and support updates in HR systems

  • Assist with benefits enrollment questions and onboarding-related inquiries

  • Support People Ops projects tied to hiring, compliance, and process improvement

Who You Are
  • 1–4 years of experience in Talent Coordination, Recruiting Operations, Sourcing, or People Ops

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented — you notice what others miss

  • Strong written and verbal communicator who’s comfortable engaging with candidates and internal stakeholders

  • Familiar with ATS tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, etc.) and eager to learn new systems

  • Able to manage competing priorities without losing momentum

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information

  • Comfortable in ambiguity and energized by building structure where none exists

Nice-to-Haves
  • Exposure to sourcing technical roles or working with engineering teams

  • Startup or high-growth company experience

  • Interest in growing into a Recruiter or People Operations role long-term

  • Familiarity with basic employment compliance or HR best practices
