What you’ll do

As Giga Energy’s Recruiter, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our fast-growing team. You’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to offer, and partner directly with hiring managers and leaders to align on hiring needs and build out our team. As part of Giga’s founding recruiting team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our recruiting function, drive employer branding efforts, and deliver a world-class candidate experience. Where you’ll work

If based outside of our Houston, Long Beach or San Francisco hubs, this role will be based remotely from your home office. You must be willing to occasionally travel to one of our hub offices 3 days out of the month.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process (sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviews, and closing).
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, craft job descriptions, and build tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Source top talent through creative methods including direct outreach, networking, job boards, and industry-specific channels.
  • Act as an ambassador for Giga by effectively communicating our mission, culture, and values to prospective candidates.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate, up-to-date records within Greenhouse (ATS).
  • Deliver a fast, transparent, and engaging candidate experience throughout the interview process.
  • Provide hiring data and insights through regular recruitment reporting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Proven experience managing the end-to-end recruiting cycle as either the first/sole recruiter or on a small team.
  • Strong sourcing skills, with experience finding and engaging passive candidates.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

Bonus points 

  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS.
  • Prior success hiring for a mix of technical and sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams and recruiting processes from scratch.
