React Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Cheqroom, you’ll be at the forefront of building powerful tools that make asset management simple and reliable. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and help shape the technical direction of features that matter. This position is fully remote and offers the flexibility to work from wherever you do your best work.

• Collaborate & Innovate – Partner with developers, product managers, and designers to build and maintain robust solutions using React TypeScript and Python.

• Lead & Deliver – Own medium to large-sized features. You’ll help define, plan, and deliver scalable and secure code across applications.

• Ensure Quality – Write clear, maintainable code and comprehensive unit tests. You'll contribute to our testing culture through integration and user acceptance tests.

• Support & Optimize – Stay ahead of performance issues, debug complex problems, and improve system reliability for end-users.

• Communicate & Coordinate – Take the lead in technical discussions, stand-ups, and documentation—collaborating with both technical and non-technical teammates.

• Architect & Guide – Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers by offering guidance on tasks, projects, and planning.

• Enhance & Develop – Work closely with product managers to enhance existing features and develop new ones that make a real difference.

• Document & Share – Keep the team aligned with transparent updates on design, implementation, and progress.

• Agile & Autonomous – Embrace ownership. Stay flexible and focused while working in an Agile environment.

• 3+ years of experience with React TypeScript

• Solid understanding of modular, reusable front-end architecture

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in professional software development

• Strong collaboration and communication skills across tech and product teams

• Knowledge of software architecture and design principles

• 1+ years of experience with Python API development

• Experience working with MongoDB

• Bonus points for full-stack thinking and a user-first mindset
