Horace Mann is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Rate Implementation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, validating, and implementing auto and property insurance rates within PolicyCenter. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of high-quality rate implementations that directly support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Rate Implementation Analyst, you will:
- Prepare, organize, and validate rate data for import into PolicyCenter.
- Create, maintain, and manage rate tables, rate books, and rate routines.
- Conduct policy period and renewal impact testing to ensure accuracy.
- Import and export data to and from PolicyCenter.
- Validate rate routine data and imported datasets to maintain integrity.
- Develop and maintain state-specific rating manuals in PolicyCenter.
- Assist in data validation and preparation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage all aspects of auto and property rate implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of auto and property policy coverages and terms.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and process complex data accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside core business hours when needed to meet deadlines or service level agreements.
Salary Range:
$53,200.00 - $78,550.00/annually.
Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
