Job Description:

The Quality Engineer ensures that all phases of all mission-critical projects performed by the company or its subcontractors are carried out with the desired level of quality from inception through turnover.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams.

  • Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.

  • Recommend effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues.

  • Attend factory witness tests for Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and CFCI equipment and systems.

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to quality issues.

  • Provide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissions.

  • Generate startup reports to document equipment readiness.

  • Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems testing and submit all related documentation, including testing and calibration reports and turnover packages.

  • Conduct routine job site audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, compliance with codes, and adherence to safety requirements.

  • Attend required safety training and comply with company and site safety regulations and requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.

  • Three years of related experience required.

  • Previous experience in Construction Project Management focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering (MEP) systems is required.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle a variety of project tasks.

  • High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

  • Ability to travel as needed for project success.

  • Knowledge of complex data center MEP Systems preferred.
