SUBSCRIBE is an enterprise software solution providing electronic subscription document technology and an order management system for alternative product transactions.
Our technology allows allocators, sponsors, and service providers to digitize the entire onboarding, investment, and reporting process for alternative investments. Through our open-architecture platform, all stakeholders are easily connected to a central venue allowing for collaboration that reduces errors, saving time and money.
Our mission is to give our clients control and reduce friction for a very painful investment process using our platform.
The Role
SUBSCRIBE is a small but growing team – we are looking for a detailed-oriented QA engineer. As a new member, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA members to ensure high-quality software releases. Your daily responsibilities may include:
Requirements
- Perform manual testing of web applications (functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX).
- Create, review, and execute well-written test cases.
- Partner with software engineers and product managers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
- Log and verify defects in our bug tracker and drive them to resolution.
- Document testing artifacts (test plans, checklists, release notes) for future reference.
- Conduct manual API testing with Postman or similar tools.
- Build automated tests, actively filling in gaps in our testing pyramid.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on manual testing experience for modern web applications.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and common QA methodologies (risk-based, exploratory, regression).
- Ability to write clear test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with Asana, Jira, Linear, or other tracking systems.
- Experience performing manual API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent.
- Comfortable with Chrome DevTools for troubleshooting and log capture.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with web test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
