The Quality Consumer Experience (Cx) Project Manager is responsible for managing variably complex high-priority, cross-functional projects within the Consumer Experience organization, executing within the project management framework.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure project milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the overarching Cx strategy.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of project management best practices, processes, and tools.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, milestones, schedules, resource requirements, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify, log, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing contingency plans and mitigation strategies, escalating to leadership as appropriate.
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional workgroups and stakeholder meetings, driving collaboration and ensuring clear communication between all business and technical partners.
- Track, compile, and report on key project decisions and metrics, providing regular, transparent updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors on progress, performance, and outcomes.
- Support business owners in the development of program documentation for Quality, NCQA accreditation and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage program scope and execute the change control process to assess and control impacts to schedule and budget.
- Assist in the development and management of Cx project budget if applicable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of aligned projects by adhering to best practices and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage the project-level SharePoint site and document repository, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
- Act as a subject matter expert on project management, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop project communication and training plans if applicable.
- Represent Cx project in program meetings.
- Perform any other job related duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in health care, patient experience, program management or a related field required
- Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
- Five (5) years of experience in project or program management, leading complex, cross-functional initiatives required
- Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., health plan operations, quality, compliance) required
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies and driving initiatives with measurable outcomes required
- Experience with Stars, Quality, and/or NCQA accreditation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, processes, and tools
- Excellent analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to gain consensus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- A process-driven, adaptable, and agile mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint
- Excellent decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent critical listening and thinking skills
- Bilingual is a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Travel is not typically required
Compensation Range:
$94,100.00 - $164,800.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
