Luminator Technology Group is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for Passenger Information Systems (PIS) in Rastatt (Germany) or Gothenburg (Sweden). The role owns the end-to-end quality strategy for real-time passenger information products across cloud services, backend APIs, management software, embedded/OS layers, and hardware displays, ensuring consistent, customer-ready releases across platforms, vendors, and transit environments.
What you will do:
- Lead and develop the QA function (hybrid team, capability planning, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement).
- Define QA standards, test strategy, and quality gates; drive release readiness, risk reporting, and aligned acceptance criteria/KPIs.
- Scale test automation (API/UI/embedded/system) integrated into CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
- Lead end-to-end validation across cloud, embedded, and displays; ensure compatibility, and own defect triage/root-cause and corrective actions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong QA background across software, embedded, and/or hardware environments.
- Proven experience leading QA teams.
- System/integration testing for multi-tier systems (cloud, backend, embedded, hardware).
- Networking in connected environments (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls).
- Automation frameworks and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Linux-based embedded environments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
Nice to have:
- Experience with passenger information systems or connected IoT products.
- Experience working with GPS, GTFS, or other real-time transit data feeds.
- Experience using AI based automation tools to accelerate automation coverage
- Experience building regression test platforms covering a large number of
