Overview
  • Manual and virtual testing on a variety of devices.
  • Documentation of test results for the software development team.
  • Create tests to identify software problems.
  • Motivate the development process for performance & efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements & trends.
  • Works alongside software developers to improve & enhance programs.
  • Analyze errors & bugs found during tests.
  • Research and compare similar competitor products
Responsibilities
  • Review specifications requirements, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Estimate, plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Communicate with internal teams to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Skills Required
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic JavaScript Skills.
  • Familiarity with Git.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Cypress.
  • Good knowledge of database systems and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Pay: $55,000–$80,000 a year
  • Flexible language requirement: French not required
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
