Job Title
Quality Assurance Engineer IIAs the Quality Engineer, you will perform professional Quality Engineering assignments of considerable complexity under limited direction supervision i.e.: conduct statistical analysis in the form of capability studies, DOE’s, etc. to evaluate processes. You will also perform assignments with business systems process, metrology/ and customer program support.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, executing, and reporting of assigned engineering projects to ensure on-time completion of activities and alignment with the site QMS. Activities might include:
- Collaborate with technical and support resources to create test, inspection, and qualification plans in consideration of internal, customer, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Ensure execution of all planned activities to schedule, either independently or in coordination with plant resources
- Provide regular updates to project management and leadership teams, including progress, roadblocks, and changes to planned deliverables
- Develop standards, procedures, sampling plans, statistical methods, gauge analyses, work instructions, control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions within the QMS to document and define processes
- Audit existing or new processes to ensure compliance with relevant internal, customer, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Collect and interpret technical data to present conclusions or solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Compile data packages, such as FAIRs and PPAPs, to document and formally manage changes within the QMS
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field preferred, or related technical field
- 4+ years of related Quality Engineering experience
- Green Belt certification preferred
- Professional Engineer and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred
- Auditing - certified lead auditor preferred
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with structured problem solving
- EQMS experience
- Minitab/JMP experience preferred
- Prior Project Management experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge in mechanical inspection techniques
- In-depth knowledge and implementation of statistical techniques, with ability to identify, analyze and define possible solutions for continuous product and process improvement
- Advanced math skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people from different cultures and backgrounds
Target Hiring Range
Annual Salary: USD 92,000.00 - USD 110,400.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
