Left Field Labs is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to lead the vision and development of the QA Automation strategy. You will spearhead & improve QA processes, automation tools, and define and build a scalable QA strategy that aligns with development and production goals.
Applicants should demonstrate outstanding communication and organizational skills; and must possess a strong understanding of the agile development methodology, project management tools, and QA workflows for both web and native apps. We’re looking for you to help us deliver on-time, high quality, one-of-a-kind experiences.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do- Develop and execute strategies for testing each applicable build during SDLC, specifically utilizing automation tools to streamline the process
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that verify appearance, functionality, and performance according to well-defined acceptance criteria
- Perform Full Regression, Sanity, and Smoke tests on various platforms (Desktop and Mobile browsers)
- Perform in-sprint ticket validation and assist in the creation and execution of launch plans to ensure successful releases
- Log defects, create, analyze, and present concise reports to project stakeholders
- Produce and update QA documentation to ensure quality remains at the forefront of software development
- Minimum of two years of QA experience performing QA on complex products
- A minimum of 2+ years of automation experience
- Outstanding, proactive communication skills are a non-negotiable requirement. We need a team player who can collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Technical Testing:
- Expertise testing websites on all Desktop and Mobile browsers
- Expertise testing on macOS & iOS
- Strong knowledge of HTML and how web pages function
- Strong understanding of the Agile development methodology, project management tools, and QA workflows for both web and native apps.
- Expertise in creating and executing comprehensive test plans and reporting issues in a concise yet detailed manner
Compensation
The hourly range for this role is $50.00-$75.00/hr and applies only to jobs performed in Culver City, California. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Please note that we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
