Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Functional and Performance Testing QA Trainee, specializing in cloud security applications. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to develop expertise in both functional and automation testing, focusing on ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based security solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in extensive training sessions covering functional and automation testing methodologies, tools, and techniques tailored specifically to cloud security applications.
2. Assist in the design, development, and execution of functional test cases to validate the features and capabilities of our cloud security application, ensuring adherence to specified requirements.
3. Learn to conduct performance testing activities, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing, to assess the application's performance under various conditions and workloads.
4. Collaborate with QA engineers and performance specialists to analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency, identify and document software defects, using appropriate issue tracking systems.
5. Gain hands-on experience in using performance testing tools and frameworks to simulate realistic user scenarios and measure system performance metrics.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system architects, and security experts, to understand system architecture and security requirements, and incorporate them into testing strategies.
7. Assist in the identification and prioritization of functional and performance-related issues, and contribute to their resolution through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in functional and performance testing, particularly in the context of cloud security applications, and share knowledge with the team.
9. Learn to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and weaknesses in the application infrastructure.
10. Familiar with any automation testing tools or programming languages is a plus.
