What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Building and maintaining the data ingestion and data streaming infrastructure
  • Evolving and maintaining the web crawling and scraping infrastructure
  • Building ETL pipelines to connect to and load data from partner and public APIs and datasets
  • Collaborating with multiple global engineering teams

Skills & Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Python
  • SQL
  • Kafka programming, or similar streaming data system.
  • Docker, K8S
  • AWS or similar cloud provider

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with python data libraries like pandas and dask or similar
  • Experience with asynchronous programming
  • Experience with distributed systems and API implementations
  • Exposure to, or experience with, machine learning systems
  • Flexibility; experience with early stage startups
