About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our marketing team and help shape how P2P.org is represented in global media.
You’ll own our external communications, building direct journalist relationships, creating strong narratives around institutional staking, and positioning our executives as trusted voices in crypto, finance, and tech.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the media landscape, thrives in fast-moving markets, and can turn complex data and product updates into stories that make headlines.

Core Responsibilities

Media Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain direct relationships with tier-one crypto, finance, and tech journalists.

  • You already have these contacts on speed dial, from CoinDesk to Bloomberg, The Block to the Financial Times.

Proactive Story Placement

  • Turn our data, partnerships, and product launches into compelling, newsworthy narratives.

  • Pitch exclusive insights, executive commentary, and first-look access to integrations that journalists actually want to cover.

Reactive PR & Thought Leadership

  • Position P2P.org’s executives as go-to experts on topics like staking economics, institutional crypto adoption, and validator infrastructure.

  • Deliver timely responses and commentary when market stories break.

Coverage Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute monthly PR calendars aligned with our campaign narratives (institutional staking, Ethereum alignment, yield optimization).

  • Track quality of coverage, not just volume, we aim for meaningful placements, not mentions.

Crisis Communications

  • Manage sensitive communications with clarity, judgment, and professionalism.

  • Know when to speak up, when to stay quiet, and how to protect the company’s reputation.

What We’re Looking For

Proven Media Network: 5+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with tier-one media outlets in crypto, finance, or tech. You can text editors at major publications and get a response.

Crypto-Native Understanding: Deep knowledge of staking, DeFi, and institutional crypto markets. You can explain validator economics to a mainstream journalist clearly and confidently.

Results Track Record: Demonstrable success securing earned coverage (not paid placements) in top-tier publications.

Strategic Thinking: Understand how PR impacts business outcomes, from brand credibility and SEO authority to partnership visibility.

Writing Excellence: Craft pitches that cut through inbox noise. Ghostwrite authentic op-eds and commentaries that sound like the executives who sign them.

Data-Driven Approach: Use data to prove the impact of PR on brand awareness, media share of voice, and market positioning.
