Job Overview:
The Analyst I is responsible for reviewing and condensing, or pruning, EEG studies and preparing the technical summary for the Neurologist review.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Review and prune EEG studies conducted on patients in preparation for Neurologist review
- Input patient demographics and exam details into a report format for Neurologist review
- Work within the scope of the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide expert knowledge of EEG pattern recognition
- Must adhere to HIPAA regulations, Company Confidentiality and Code of Conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree or CAAHEP ND program graduate, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of EEG experience and 2 years of Pruning experience required
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in EEG analysis programs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including weekend rotation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated detail orientation, with the ability to work with large data sets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within strict timelines
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Current ABRET R. EEG. T. required
- Current ABRET CLTM preferred or willingness to achieve credential within 2 years.
