QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Currently enrolled in aerospace or mechanical engineering at a four-year accredited university 
  • Experience in the development of aircraft, spacecraft, or similar systems (internships, laboratory, academic, and personal/team project experience is applicable).
  • Must be able to work full time (40 hours per week), on-site in Denver, CO for 12 consecutive weeks. 
    • Co-Op Programs will run concurrent with University Semester dates
    • Intern Program will run May – August 2026
  • Must be able to provide own transportation and housing. 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Have completed their Junior and/or Senior year
  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Passionate about advancing space security and sustainability.
  • Resilient problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience with hardware for pressurized systems and/or liquid rocket propulsion 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a member of our Engineering Internship Program, you will gain hands-on experience contributing to the design, development, and testing of mission-critical spacecraft systems. Internship responsibilities may include: 
  • Propulsion System Development:
    • Support propulsion subsystem development, including component selection, pressurized system layout, performance modeling, and data analysis. 
  • Collaborate closely with mentors and team members to apply your knowledge and develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork, interacting with engineers from various disciplines to solve complex challenges.
  • Showcase your work through presentations or project reviews.
  • Participate in social and professional events with fellow interns and employees. 

Compensation

  • 28/hour
