The Role:

The Optimization Project Manager is responsible for developing comprehensive project plans incorporating cross-functional requirements from Advisory leadership, Data, and Engineering teams. This role will also assist in evolving existing processes and champion continuous improvement to align with growing and changing business needs. This role requires someone with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage and track a high volume of projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Intake & Scheduling
    • Collaborate with Advisory leadership to manage new project requests, interpret requirements, define scope, develop project timelines, and assign resources in context of conflicting priorities
    • Track project plans and review daily/weekly work schedule with key stakeholders
  • Traffic
    • Act as a hub between Advisory, Data, and Engineering teams
    • Establish a tight process for accepting, prioritizing, and managing Jira tickets
    • Independently traffic production schedule and delivery dates


Requirements:

  • Excellent project management, organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment
  • Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to change focus quickly
  • Ability to take direction and work with autonomy
  • Strong verbal, written, listening, and follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work closely with Senior Management and maintain strict levels of confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and collaborative
  • Willingness to back-up Associates on operational tasks
  • Software Experience: Jira, Slack, Salesforce, Google Suite (Sheets in particular)
