About the team

Our team delivers business-critical communications.  We act as an on-site resource during conversion and answers questions, troubleshoot problems as they occur, support implementation of new procedures, conduct last minute training if necessary and provide support during conversion week.

What you will be doing

You will examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers and complete data mapping and transaction workflow documents as the basis for conversion to FIS systems.  You will develop understanding of and define client products and services through information gathering sessions to determine how FIS systems must be established to meet client needs.  Through data analysis, product mapping and interviews, gather forms and data files from customer, assess requirements for software utilization, and discuss any software customization requirements with programming team.

  • As part of the conversion process, test customized software against customer specific needs, sharing reports and application specific data with customers that reflect how conversion data will be processed.

  • Review conversion results (reports, balancing, data load, software changes) with client to refine and confirm requirements. Obtain formal customer acceptance of results.

  • Examine client processes, forms and reports; determine operational needs and document software capabilities and all related processes, forms, reports, etc. to be used after conversion is complete.

  • May develop new procedures with client to ensure FIS software is used appropriately.

  • Carefully examine data and reports to make sure conversion is proceeding correctly; run test scripts with various data to see how new or customized transactions process through the software; verify and validate accuracy of data through the generation of a variety of reports. Validation may include completion of prior system to FIS balancing.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • 3-5 years data mapping experience, with strong analytical and technical skills

  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner

  • Experience working across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to understand, apply and explain concepts

  • Project Management experience, handling up to 20 projects at a time

  • Strong skill level with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Added bonus if you have

  • Banking or financial industry experience 

  • Experience working with technical issues in a banking environment
