What this Job Entails: The Project & Program Management I role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of internal information, system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, and PC deployment. The role oversees work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. The role develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity. Scope:

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Setup and Management
  • Create and maintain EPLS GSD projects following established naming conventions and templates.
  • Ensure proper task generation, alignment, and categorization within the GSD system.
  • Coordinate with engineering and program management teams to confirm device availability and test readiness.
  • Monitor hardware roadmap to ensure ongoing alignment and/or changes based on guidance from IE PMs.
  • Project Triage and Status Monitoring
  • Set up and maintain the GSD Summary View for all projects, verifying intake information and assigning owners appropriately.
  • Monitor project statuses, ensuring timely updates (minimum bi-weekly) and accurate reflection of progress.
  • Manage the Test Ready Check (TRC) process, confirming devices are ready before validation begins.
  • Validation Oversight
  • Collaborate with EPLS Engineers to ensure validations are accurately reflected in GSD.
  • Track and report on validation metrics such as pass rates and task completion percentages. Initially may be manual with intent to utilize automation by EOY.
  • Monitor EPLS Metrics dashboard to ensure that data quality is high and GSD is maintained.
  • Work with EPLS engineers to manage backlog tasks and remediation processes for failed validations.
  • Communication and Reporting
  • On-demand as completed workplace post to notify stakeholders and partners of specific project completions, including providing links to relevant GSD projects, backlogs, and documentation.
  • Monthly workplace post to summarize above completions, in-flight validations, andany risks identified by IE PM and/or EPLS Engineers.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication within the EPLS team and with upstream stakeholders regarding ongoing and/or completed validations.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation
  • Maintain and update the EPLS GSD Guidebook and related documentation.
  • Implement best practices for project and task management within the GSD system.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members on GSD processes.
  • Note: Escalations related to any of the above will be owned by IE PM (FTE).
Qualifications
  • Strong project management skills with experience in technical program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to track and adhere to multiple ongoing projects and timelines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process adherence and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help drive execution.
  • Experience with task management systems and scripting tools is a plus.

Salary Range

$59,812.00 - $94,440.00 USD (Salary)
  • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
