Description
Engrain builds map-based tech that's redefining how real estate works. Our interactive, unit-level maps and powerful data integrations help over 1,000 companies-and 20,000 properties-to make smarter decisions, streamline leasing, and deliver better renter experiences. From prospect to renewal, our products give properties a spatial brain and a visual edge when it comes to property marketing and management. And it's working: our churn rate is just 5%, and we've been putting up double-digit growth numbers every year.
We're not your typical proptech company. We move fast, we stay curious, and we don't do stale or corporate fluff. Backed by successful Seed and Series A rounds, we're entering a phase of serious scale.
We are looking for a sharp, tech-forward Intern to lead a high-priority data organization project. This role is ideal for someone who loves "organizing chaos." You will be responsible for researching specific internal and external assets, cataloging them into a centralized system you build from scratch, and identifying trends within that data to help our leadership team make informed decisions. This is a foundational role. The day-to-day involves significant manual research and data entry. We need someone who finds the 'needle in the haystack' and doesn't mind the effort it takes to get there.
The expected duration of this internship is 90 days.

- Autonomous Execution: Take ownership of the project workflow from start to finish with minimal daily oversight.
Requirements
What you offer us...
- Education/Experience: Advanced proficiency in relational database design (Airtable/Notion/Excel) and a background in research-heavy coursework or internships; must demonstrate the ability to categorize complex information and identify underlying trends without constant supervision.

- Research & Discovery: High proficiency in digital research and the ability to verify information across multiple platforms.
- Resilience & Focus: Demonstrated ability to excel in high-volume, repetitive research tasks; you are comfortable spending long hours "in the weeds" of data entry and documentation to ensure the integrity of our records.
- Meticulous Accuracy: A "measure twice, cut once" approach to data entry.
- Logical Reasoning: Ability to see the "big picture" while managing granular details.
