Opportunity Overview:

As a Renovations Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on interior value-add projects across our portfolio—ensuring renovations are completed on time, on budget, and up to our high standards. You’ll own the day-to-day details, keep communication flowing, and drive projects that elevate our communities and boost long-term value.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Lead the charge on apartment renovation projects—planning, managing, and driving each one to successful completion
  • Create and refine project scopes, then coordinate with both trusted contractors and in-house maintenance teams to keep everything on time and on budget
  • Manage the full bid process, from preparing documents to reviewing proposals and selecting the best partners for the job
  • Collaborate with design and project teams to choose finishes, appliances, flooring, and other upgrade features that elevate our communities
  • Work closely with Community Managers, Regional Project Managers, and senior leadership to align on project timelines and strategies
  • Ensure every project follows company policies and complies with all safety, legal, and regulatory standards
  • Champion a culture of integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions—with residents, vendors, teammates, and partners

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of experience managing multi-family renovations, construction, or maintenance projects
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong budgeting, financial, and analytical skills
  • Experience building and managing vendor and contractor relationships
  • Solid leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile tools
  • Some college coursework or trade school education preferred
  • Willingness to travel locally and overnight up to 25%
