This position is fully remote. All applicants must live and work in the United States.

We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Project Manager to help us deliver outstanding digital experiences for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of redesign, migration and ongoing support projects. You will work collaboratively with internal strategy, design, development and QA teams, while also managing the client relationship. We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager, who can excel in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for leading and mentoring other project managers. Becoming a TAG team member is an opportunity to succeed and grow as a Project Manager, while working with a highly collaborative and diversely skilled team.

You might be who we are looking for if...

  • You have worked at an agency for 2+ years.
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing web development projects, with experience in at least one of these platforms: Shopify, Contentful, Drupal or Wordpress. Experience working with more than one of these is a plus!
  • You want to own your projects, not just manage them.
  • You are intellectually curious and demonstrate a commitment to clients and teammates.
  • You are a clear, confident communicator and write and speak effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You can manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You build trust with clients through professionalism, follow-through, and transparency.
  • You are comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity when requirements or priorities are unclear.
  • You are extremely detail oriented and organized.
  • You work effectively with remote and distributed teams.
  • You are comfortable partnering with developers and working within technical systems and workflows.
  • You are eager to learn, grow and mentor.

As a Senior Project Manager at TAG you will...

  • Take the lead on every project, moving beyond simple coordination to true project ownership, directing the flow of communication, managing resource interdependencies, and decisively navigating through complex challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between TAG and your clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for project teams — including but not limited to designers, strategists, analytics, product owners, developers, and QA — and lead them toward success throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with Account Management, Strategy, and Engineering leadership to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage website projects, including site builds, redesigns, re-platforms, enhancements, and ongoing support, with budgets typically up to $200k.
  • Oversee project execution from kickoff through launch, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with TAG quality standards.
  • Create project plans by defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables while setting timelines, planning resource breakdowns and allocating resources.
  • Support project scoping by gathering requirements and translating them into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Manage project budgets by tracking hours, reviewing invoices, and maintaining budget control.
  • Forecast and manage project resources in alignment with budgets, schedules, and team capacity.
  • Oversee and report on project health to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks by anticipating issues and developing mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, design, development, and QA teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project meetings including kickoff, weekly status, sprint planning, training, launch, and more.
  • Keep thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.
  • Manage changes effectively by evaluating change requests and assessing their impact.
  • Identify potential new sales opportunities with your clients.
  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence, Harvest, and Forecast to manage schedules, budgets, and communications.
  • Apply agile and hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate for each project.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency across the organization.
