As a Project Manager II, you will:
- Oversee the coordination of time and resources throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the simultaneous execution of multiple implementation projects with precision and efficiency.
- Prioritize client satisfaction through clear communication and professional relationship management.
- Maintain and update customer records, ensuring accuracy in account information to support ongoing engagement and project tracking.
- Continuously expand product and industry knowledge to enhance professional expertise and contribute to best practices within the organization.
- Consistently meet or exceed established performance metrics and goals by implementing strategic problem-solving techniques and proactive project oversight.
- Ensure projects adhere to scope, budget, and timeline expectations by carefully sequencing tasks and maintaining synchronized execution plans.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors, fostering seamless collaboration to drive project momentum and resolve roadblocks.
- Manage escalations with leadership, swiftly identifying challenges and implementing solutions that mitigate risk and maintain project continuity.
- Keep key stakeholders informed at every stage of the project lifecycle, fostering transparency and trust through consistent and effective communication.
- Anticipate potential risks that may impact project success, proactively conducting Root Cause Analysis and/or Corrective Action Investigations when necessary, and documenting key takeaways for future process improvements.
- Play an active role in mentoring and supporting team development, helping to cultivate a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Possibly travel onsite that will require overnight stays
Requirements
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in MIS or a related field (preferred).
- PMP or CAPM certification (a plus).
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in project management, demonstrating a track record of successful project execution.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and its application within project management.
- Experience leading an implementation team, ensuring smooth deployment and execution of project deliverables.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a natural ability to inspire and guide teams toward shared objectives.
- A quick aptitude for mastering TCP systems and related technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey project expectations and updates to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed logical, analytical, and reasoning skills that support strategic decision-making and problem resolution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- A comprehensive understanding of technical designs, database structures, and system specifications.
- Proficiency in software and project management tools, with the ability to translate business needs into structured, actionable project plans.
- Experience working with accounting and/or payroll systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Databases, Microsoft Server operating systems, cloud-based software solutions (SaaS), and networking a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
