Job Summary
The Project Manager supports the successful customer-facing implementation of ZOLL’s technology solutions in fast-paced emergency healthcare environments. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and manage implementation activities in partnership with experienced project managers, cross-functional teams, and EMS customers who operate under constant pressure. Success requires strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and comfort working in environments where processes, timelines, and project details may continue to evolve. This role is ideal for a developing project manager who is eager to build foundational project management skills, gain exposure to the product development lifecycle, and grow within a mission-driven organization supporting emergency medical services.
Essential Functions
Provide management oversight for each project assigned
Ability to manage multiple projects or project phases simultaneously
Manage customer relationship during the project
Understand and communicate the project schedule to internal and customer project teams and resources
Manage to the contract to assure compliance
Proactively identify and mitigate risk
Maintain the project plan and its associated components with frequent updates to internal and customer stakeholders
Support projects where not all requirements are fully defined at the outset, partnering with internal teams and customers to help clarify needs as implementations progress.
Apply a learning mindset to new or unfamiliar situations, seeking guidance and incorporating feedback to navigate changing priorities and implementation challenges.
Assure successful acceptance and closure of the project
Maintain a high standard of customer service, evidenced by consistently achieving high customer satisfaction ratings upon project completion
Assure accurate revenue recognition and accounting relating to each project assigned, as appropriate
Understanding of and adherence to internal accounting and security requirements, HIPAA and revenue recognition standards
Travel to customer sites (local, national, and international) to attend and conduct project kick-off, status, planning, technical requirement gathering, and project closure meetings as necessary.
Represent the company in a professional and competent manner, always, as corporate liaison
Manage customer expectations and develop internal and external relationships
Continue to learn and apply project management methodologies and best practices.
Willingly engage in self and professional improvement training utilizing both internal and external training tools and classes.
Ongoing contribution to team knowledge sharing
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, healthcare, or related field preferred
1-3 years of external customer-facing project related experience required and
Experience in IT, healthcare, or software support is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Base understanding of PMI concepts
Proficiency using personal computers and applications such as Salesforce, Office 365, Excel, SharePoint and other software
Detail orientated and strong organizational skills
Maturity of judgment under pressure and the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Strong desire to learn project management practices, healthcare workflows, and technical concepts, with the ability to apply new knowledge quickly.
Ability to negotiate successfully with customers and vendors
Balance structure with flexibility to support successful outcomes in real-world implementation scenarios.
Strong written and verbal communications skills with excellent professional presence
Solid business acumen with a high level of decision-making skills and the ability to maintain a proactive approach to continuous process improvement
Ability to manage numerous activities within time constraints and deadlines

The annual salary for this position is:
$80,000.00 to $105,000.00Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Details of ZOLL's comprehensive benefits plans can be found at www.zollbenefits.com.
