Summary:
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of value-based utilization initiatives from concept through launch readiness. You will drive clarity, structure, and disciplined execution to ensure initiatives are clearly scoped, cross-functionally aligned, and positioned to achieve measurable clinical and financial outcomes. You will collaborate closely with analytics, clinical, sourcing, and implementation partners while maintaining strong ownership, precision, and accountability in complex, evolving environments.
Responsibilities:
Lead initiative planning and execution from idea intake through implementation readiness.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across analytics, clinical stakeholders, sourcing, and implementation teams.
Define and document initiative scope, including categorization, assumptions, and success metrics.
Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables while holding stakeholders accountable to prevent delays.
Partner with Product Implementation Managers to ensure operational alignment and readiness.
Validate reporting logic and outputs to ensure alignment with approved scope and definitions.
Support identification and intake of new initiative opportunities with analytics and business stakeholders.
Facilitate structured, action-oriented stakeholder meetings focused on outcomes.
Conduct post-implementation debriefs and drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
2 or more years of relevant experience required.
Demonstrated project management experience, preferably within healthcare, supply chain, clinical, or operational environments.
Experience working in highly cross-functional settings with analytics, clinical leaders, and implementation teams.
Strong ability to influence without authority and engage senior, diverse stakeholder groups.
Proven track record of managing initiatives tied to financial and performance outcomes.
Expertise in scope definition, stakeholder communication, and risk identification.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
