Position Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and directing multiple interconnected enterprise restaurant technology deployment projects for PAR customers. This role leads cross-functional internal and external project teams specializing in large-scale restaurant technology implementations, including customer-specific enterprise software and hardware solutions architected and delivered by PAR.

The Project Manager provides ongoing project updates to customers and PAR executives, maintains regular communication with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners, and ensures projects remain on track with respect to scope, schedule, and budget. This role operates in a highly matrixed environment and partners cross-functionally across the PAR organization to support strategic goals and business objectives.

Deployment projects may include overnight and weekend installation activity, during which issues or escalations may arise that require active management by this role.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and processes

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects, preferably within enterprise environments

  • 5+ years of experience in the restaurant management or restaurant technology industry

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers

  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute work effectively in high-pressure environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve project resource constraints

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving business needs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office required; familiarity with Jotform, Slack, and Monday.com preferred

  • Direct and manage enterprise deployment projects with full accountability for outcomes

  • Establish and maintain cross-functional project leadership with customers, vendors, and third-party consultants

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths

  • Define, verify, control, and negotiate project scope and scope changes with customers

  • Direct, motivate, and lead internal and external project team members

  • Manage exceptions and escalate issues that impact deployment success

  • Attend, host, and lead meetings with PAR stakeholders, customers, and third-party partners

  • Provide real-time and scheduled project updates through reporting, meetings, and dashboards

  • Maintain continuous awareness of project status and proactively communicate progress and risks
