About the role

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join Dyson’s New Product Development (NPD) team. This exciting position will be working in the Dyson Home Category.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business strategy and effective communication with senior management.

  • Coordinate project status, resolve conflicts, and drive solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing risks, actions, and issues.

  • Oversee resource allocation, project cost management, and adherence to Dyson development processes and engineering standards.

  • Facilitate optimal design decisions within time, specification, and cost constraints, supporting resolution of engineering challenges hands-on.

  • Ensure seamless integration of design, research, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial functions to optimize product performance.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations across development stages, maintaining governance and organization of project-related information.

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; PMP certification is preferred.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

  • Ability to build effective relationships, influence stakeholders, and engage confidently with senior executives.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves frequent collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers based in China.

  • Assertive and proactive in driving teams toward solutions and remedial actions when necessary.

  • Credible understanding of engineering processes to collaborate effectively with design teams.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to China is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project.
