About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager for our Orlando, FL or near our other offices with strong AV, construction, or technical project management experience. Remote opportunity considered for the right candidate.

Lead the delivery of experiential AV projects that exceed client expectations and bring their vision to life. As a key member of the Operations team, you'll guide a skilled group of AV engineers, project coordinators, and installation professionals, ensuring each project is executed with precision, delivered on time and within budget, and leaves a lasting impression through exceptional client experiences.


What you'll do

  • Lead the delivery of impactful AV solutions—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards that delight our clients.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate project execution, aligning internal resources and external partners while maintaining clear, proactive communication with clients for seamless delivery
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans, leveraging in-house talent and trusted partners to meet client goals efficiently.
  • Manage financial performance of projects, including timely invoicing, scope changes, and forecasting to ensure financial health and client transparency.
  • Foster a high-performing project team environment, guiding AV engineers, coordinators, and installers to deliver exceptional results through organized and effective collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage project scope and contractual obligations, proactively identifying and addressing changes to protect project integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination, ensuring internal teams, clients, strategic partners, and contractors are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation, supporting material tracking, financial accuracy, and handover to Service for warranty execution.
  • Optimize resource allocation and scheduling, balancing efficiency with quality to meet project milestones and exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, safeguarding against risk and ensuring sufficient cash flow through diligent management of invoices and change orders.
  • Champion health and safety standards, ensuring all projects adhere to safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide accurate labor and material estimates, continuously refining forecasting through lessons learned to enhance future project planning.
  • Represent Electrosonic with professionalism and integrity, building trust and long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Commit to continuous improvement, applying insights from each project to elevate future performance and client outcomes.
  • Uphold information security standards, ensuring all project activities comply with company policies and protect client data.

  • You hold a degree in a relevant technical discipline or bring at least five years of hands-on experience in the AV or related industry, with a proven track record of leading successful teams and delivering client-focused outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional project management experience in the AV, experiential technology, or a closely related industry.
  • Hands-on installation or prior project coordination experience, with a strong understanding of field realities and client-facing delivery.
  • Solid knowledge of current products, technologies, and trends in audio, video, show control, and integrated AV systems.
  • Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, risk management, and relationship building, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Proficient with standard office and project management tools (e.g., Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with the collaboration platforms Teams and Asana is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret and manage project budgets and schedules, with a mindset for optimizing value and margin.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, specifically construction trades, and a track record for problem-solving across multiple disciplines.
  • Industry and Project Management Certifications are a plus. May include PMP, CTS, OSHA.


Salary based on experience: $90k annual
Orlando: Hybrid flexibility
Remote: opportunity considered for the right candidate

Travel: 20% is required with this role
