Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a global third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking a Logistics Professional to join our growing team.
The Project Manager, Trade Compliance Consulting provides project management, operational and administrative support for our M-PACT Trade Compliance Consulting Team. M-PACT is a specialized consulting practice that helps importers and exporters navigate complex trade compliance requirements.
This role serves as the operational hub of the consulting practice by coordinating client intake, project workflows, proposals, documentation, and client communications. The Project Manager ensures projects are organized, deadlines are met, and consultants have the information and resources needed to deliver exceptional client service. Success in this role requires strong organization, process management, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate new client intake, onboarding, and project assignments.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, priorities, and deadlines.
- Prepare and manage proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project documentation.
- Manage client meeting workflows by preparing agendas, coordinating required materials, documenting decisions, and ensuring timely follow-through on action items.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and project tracking tools.
- Maintain accurate project records and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
- Partner with trade consultants to manage project execution, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Coordinate logistics for client training sessions and educational events.
- Identify process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and the overall client experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, consulting operations, trade compliance, or a related field.
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international logistics providers preferred.
- Knowledge of trade compliance, import/export operations, or customs regulations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize competing demands, and proactively identify solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and geographic location. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, which covers medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
