The Project Manager role will join the Technical Operations team of a healthcare data and analytics software company. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager on our Operations team and will be responsible for the connector implementation business function. This will involve working closely with customer implementation managers, data engineers, and data analysts to help drive forward connector implementations, optimize the processes by which this work is managed, and report on key success metrics.

What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the Arcadia connector product and broader platform
- Achieve familiarity with our SDLC policies and procedures
- Establish credibility with key stakeholders
- Manage the connector sprint planning process, with support
In 6 months
- Independently manage the connector sprint planning process and offer strong support to implementation managers on individual connector execution
- Provide ongoing active contribution to methodology and process for project management
- Be recognized by key stakeholders as committed, disciplined, self-motivated and self-organizing
In 12 months
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives in project management and work delivery
- Become a sought after expert on the connector delivery process & project management principles
- Develop a robust velocity and throughput tracking mechanism to improve project timeline projections and capacity planning work on standardized data connector development
What You'll Be Doing
- As a Project Manager, your outcomes are critical to driving the long-term partnership between Arcadia and our customers.
- Oversee the processes for requesting, tracking, and delivering connectors, including Jira workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Agile ceremonies
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Scrum Teams dedicated to building connectors and ensure that the members of those teams are set up for success and that all pre-requisites are being met
- Interact frequently with implementation managers within the company, who are each responsible for tracking delivery for their customer’s connectors and who own back and forth communications with the customer
- Work effectively with senior leaders at the Director and VP level and be comfortable reporting on progress, blockers, and opportunities to that audience
- Collaborate with project managers in other business functions across Engineering, Product, IT, and Operations to develop and design standard processes, practices, minimum standards and templates for project management
- Consult on particularly complex delivery efforts by developing effort-based plans, supporting customer-facing teams in setting appropriate expectations, communicating progress & action items and acting as an escalation point for issues and risks
- In the event of escalations, bring together stakeholders to ensure appropriate action or mitigation plans are established and report back on status until the escalation is resolved
- Establish metrics and dashboards in Jira and/or Smartsheet to inform key leaders about status, queue depth, velocity, and inflow/outflow rates
- We are a fast moving company, and strong time management is necessary to ensure realistic expectations are set and communicated deadlines are met
What You'll Bring
- 2-5 years of related work experience at a tech company
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in project management discipline
- Proven results delivering projects in Agile/Scrum environment
- Eagerness to learn, a detail-oriented mindset, and a creative approach to problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication skills: Comfortable and confident communicating at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (SmartSheet, Jira, Confluence, etc.) as well as MS Office tools
Would Love For You To Have
- A passion for collaboration and problem solving
- Experience in healthcare, especially value-based care and population health management
- Experience designing and refactoring processes in a high-paced operational environment
- Proven track record of collaborating across teams and with senior leaders in an organization
- Exposure to AWS products (S3, EC2, Athena, Redshift, etc.) or Apache products (Scylla, Zeppelin, Nifi, Hudi, etc.) a plus
- Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP)
- Experience leading a cross-functional team or project(s) and promoting a collaborative environment (remote experience a plus)
