I. Job Summary
Under direction, oversees large and complex, integrated program(s)/ projects. Implements work scope, provides program/project planning, budget, and administration, and develops related operational policies and procedures. This role will primarily focus on, planning, development, testing, and implementation of solutions to gain operational efficiencies and effectiveness within the Stericycle Compliance Solutions business unit. Key knowledge areas include; sales strategy, phone system/call routing/productivity enhancement, comp plans, value delivery, and training. Individual is expected to work independently with limited guidance and understand how and when to escalate issues, risks, etc.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Planning
- Leads the coordination with Stericycle business sponsors to define the requirements and scope for global strategic projects
- Identifies resources needed for project teams
- Schedules tasks, deadlines, and key milestones. Looks for ways to mitigate resource constraints and other risks, associated with the timeline
- Establishes best practices for managing projects
- Leads project assignments with limited direction and has the autonomy to make decisions and recommendations in accordance to policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Leads all project deliverables and resources, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget
- Project Execution
- Works with resources to execute on global projects/ business initiates
- Manages the project lifecycle including requirements, development, testing, and launch.
- Direct accountability for project delivery
- Must implement effective and efficient business solutions, perform management and oversight of complex projects, and provide ongoing strategic direction to project teams
- Project Reporting
- Leads business-process analysis and process-improvement activities when business analyst resources are not available
- Meets with business sponsors on a regular basis to communicate project progress and discuss issues
- Resolves issues with the appropriate level of management.
- Effectively manages “scope creep” by building consensus about the necessity to change the original project plan
- Develops FAQ’s and/or documentation to transition knowledge to system administration support staff
- Performs research; produces and/or markets project(s) and/or product(s)
- Opportunity to contribute to evolution of PM practices and potential business practices
- Ensures that programs and projects are designed to support and implement company goals and strategic objectives
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree an emphasis in business or communication or the equivalent in related work experience
- 7 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience in a service-oriented industry, including three or more years of project management experience
B. Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $ 106,370 - $138,160. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
