Job Description - This position is 100% Remote
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to play a key role in building and guiding the next generation of Swish Software Engineering products with an eye towards scaling our systems across a growing team. Our goal, as a team, is to create intuitive and powerful cutting-edge applications, and you will be working with a passionate and hard-working team with varying experience levels that fosters a challenging and rewarding environment.
Duties:
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute on engineering initiatives, setting strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement
- Defines and documents project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Devising and adapting strategies for executing on necessary goals
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Develops full-scale project plans and associated project & communication artifacts
- Managing the data science backlog and prioritizing them based on evolving requirements
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Assist in the staffing and assignment of resources based on project needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Asana or Jira
- Hands-on experience with data science tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, AWS, etc
Base salary: $90,000 - 120,000
