  • HIM and coding workflow redesign

  • Claims, billing, and reimbursement process enhancements

  • Denials prevention and root-cause remediation

  • Cross-functional leadership across Revenue Cycle, HIM, Compliance, Clinical Ops, and IT

  • Executive reporting, KPIs, and financial performance tracking

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex Epic-based revenue integrity initiatives from strategy through execution

  • Conduct operational and workflow assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities

  • Translate business requirements into Epic system design and configuration plans

  • Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, and deliverables

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment across finance, compliance, and clinical leadership

  • Oversee testing, training, go-live readiness, and stabilization

  • Develop dashboards and metrics to measure revenue improvement outcomes

  • Drive change management and user adoption

  • Travel onsite up to 25% for critical milestones and go-lives

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
  • 7+ years of healthcare project management experience

  • 5+ years leading Epic Revenue Cycle or Revenue Integrity initiatives

  • Direct experience improving:

  • Hands-on or leadership experience with Epic revenue cycle modules

  • Proven success leading enterprise or multi-site healthcare implementations

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate independently in a consulting/contract environment

Epic Experience Required (Non-Negotiable)

Experience with one or more:

  • Resolute Professional Billing

  • Resolute Hospital Billing

  • HIM / Deficiency Tracking

  • Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement certifications

  • PMP certification

  • Consulting or transformation program experience

  • Experience working with large health systems or IDNs

Engagement Details
  • Remote with up to 25% travel

  • W2 Contract

  • $95/hour

  • 6+ month contract with strong extension potential

  • High-visibility, impact-driven work

Who Will Thrive Here

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Thinks like a consultant and acts like an owner

  • Focuses on measurable financial outcomes, not just timelines

  • Can speak the language of both Revenue Cycle leaders and IT teams

  • Has led Epic transformations that materially improved revenue performance

  • Prefers autonomy and strategic influence over task management
