Project Manager – Revenue Integrity (Epic Required)Remote | 25% Travel | W2 Contract | $95/hour | 6+ Months (Extension Possible)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a senior-level Project Manager – Revenue Integrity to lead strategic Epic-focused revenue cycle initiatives across hospital and ambulatory healthcare environments.
This role is dedicated to Revenue Integrity, compliance, charge capture accuracy, coding optimization, denials prevention, and reimbursement performance — not general IT project coordination.
The ideal candidate is a consultative healthcare leader who has successfully delivered Epic-driven financial and operational improvements, partnered directly with Revenue Cycle, HIM, Coding, and Finance stakeholders, and driven measurable outcomes such as reduced denials, improved clean claim rates, and optimized charge capture.
Epic experience is mandatory. Candidates without Epic experience will not be considered. No other EHR platforms accepted.
What You’ll OwnYou will lead enterprise initiatives that directly impact reimbursement and revenue performance, including:
Epic Revenue Integrity & Revenue Cycle implementations and optimizations
Charge capture and documentation improvement programs
HIM and coding workflow redesign
Claims, billing, and reimbursement process enhancements
Denials prevention and root-cause remediation
Revenue leakage identification and recovery strategies
Epic module configuration and system adoption
End-to-end project lifecycle delivery (assessment → design → go-live → stabilization)
Cross-functional leadership across Revenue Cycle, HIM, Compliance, Clinical Ops, and IT
Executive reporting, KPIs, and financial performance tracking
Lead complex Epic-based revenue integrity initiatives from strategy through execution
Conduct operational and workflow assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Translate business requirements into Epic system design and configuration plans
Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, and deliverables
Facilitate stakeholder alignment across finance, compliance, and clinical leadership
Oversee testing, training, go-live readiness, and stabilization
Develop dashboards and metrics to measure revenue improvement outcomes
Drive change management and user adoption
Travel onsite up to 25% for critical milestones and go-lives
7+ years of healthcare project management experience
5+ years leading Epic Revenue Cycle or Revenue Integrity initiatives
Direct experience improving:
Charge capture
Coding accuracy
Denials reduction
Clean claim rate
Reimbursement performance
Hands-on or leadership experience with Epic revenue cycle modules
Proven success leading enterprise or multi-site healthcare implementations
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate independently in a consulting/contract environment
Experience with one or more:
Resolute Professional Billing
Resolute Hospital Billing
HIM / Deficiency Tracking
Charge Capture & Revenue Integrity workflows
Coding/3rd-party integration tools
Revenue reporting and analytics
Only Epic experience will be considered. Other EHR platforms are not accepted.
PreferredRevenue Integrity, HIM, or Coding leadership background
Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement certifications
PMP certification
Consulting or transformation program experience
Experience working with large health systems or IDNs
Remote with up to 25% travel
W2 Contract
$95/hour
6+ month contract with strong extension potential
