  • Estimated annual base pay: $67,000(minimum) - $87,000(midpoint) - $107,000(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Testing: Manage test stand design work, procurement, and builds
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and monitor documentation efforts
  • Project Infrastructure: Help manage MCTC infrastructure upgrades for development test lab/IR&D used for certification of product development of new technology
  • Project Escalations: Manage ANDONS and escalate issues
  • Product Testing: Test article hardware procurement management and tracking
  • Product Actions: Accountable for project results.
  • Project Artifacts: Accountable for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, resources, etc.).
  • Project Governance: Lead project meetings and reviews.
  • Project Life Cycle: Accountable for project gates and deliverables.

  • Leadership (Empathy/ Influence/Mentoring): Leads teams to achieve project goals. Builds trust, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration among team members. Takes personal ownership of the project and drives commitment from team members.
  • Time Management / Prioritization: Basic ability to manage schedules, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes. With the help of the Program Manager or PMO Leadership, prioritizes tasks and effectively addresses competing demands.
  • Communication: Conveys project information to stakeholders, team members, and sponsors. Manages stakeholder expectations and ensures alignment on goals.
  • Stakeholder Management (upward): Engages stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives. Addresses stakeholder concerns. Builds and maintains relationships to secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Risk Management: Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develops contingency plans and addresses potential obstacles. Monitors and addresses threats to minimize negative impacts on project objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyzes situations, identifies solutions, and makes informed decisions, with the support of the Program Manager or PMO Leader. Manages challenges and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Leverages data and metrics to evaluate options and choose the best course of action, with the support of the Program Manager or PMO Leader.
  • Budget Management: Estimates, allocates, and manages project budgets. Monitors financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Team Management (cross-functional/matrix): Creates teamwork by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication. Encourages collaboration to contribute to project success.
  • Scope (Change) Management: Adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information. Defines and controls the project scope to prevent scope creep. Manages change requests while ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints. Maintains focus on deliverables and ensures they meet agreed-upon requirements.
  • Technical Project Management Skills (incl. Scheduling): Solid project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Uses tools and software (e.g., Planisware, Jira, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Applies standard PM techniques like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Gantt charts.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
