Job Summary
The Project Manager 2 serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customer programs, managing and coordinating all aspects of projects for mid‑to‑large‑sized accounts, typically under $25 million in annual revenue. This role is responsible for achieving operational, financial, and customer satisfaction targets while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager 2 may partner with a Senior Project Manager on programs requiring multi‑divisional coordination.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer accounts, acting as an extension of the customer’s team with a strong focus on customer advocacy
Coordinate and manage all phases of the project/program lifecycle, including RFPs, order confirmations, sales orders, detailing, purchasing, production, delivery, and installation
Develop, obtain customer approval for, and manage critical project/program timelines; monitor progress and communicate updates or adjustments as needed
Review and approve architectural design and fixture drawings prior to release to customers
Actively manage customer inventories, re‑orders, and finished goods inventory related to assigned accounts
Monitor project production through physical review of work‑in‑process as well as labor, cost, and margin reporting
Analyze financial performance of accounts, including budgets and P&L, and conduct margin analysis
Support estimating and costing activities, including participation in cost‑reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Sales and Operations to pursue revenue growth and improve gross margin performance
Identify issues and aid in the development and implementation of corrective actions related to quality, cost, and timelines
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency in managing multiple priorities
Act as a mentor to junior Project Management team members and assist with training as needed
May oversee Project Administrators and Project Coordinators
May assist in recruiting activities, training, and performance evaluation
Travel as required to support customer and project needs

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, preferably in a consumer or manufacturing environment
Experience managing mid‑to‑large customer accounts and complex project lifecycles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
Experience using ERP systems; Epicor experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of Excel, including the ability to implement, maintain, and manipulate spreadsheets
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and architectural documents
Ability to understand and manage financial performance of accounts, including budgets, P&L, and margin analysis
Experience supporting estimating, costing, and cost‑reduction initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve operational and financial targets
Salary Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay:
Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
