Project Manager I: Clinical Business Strategy & Operations (Sponsor Dedicated /Remote: US Based)

Become the Operational Powerhouse Behind High‑Impact Clinical Initiatives

Are you a master organizer, a communications ace, and the steady hand that keeps complex operations running flawlessly? Do you thrive in fast‑paced environments where details matter, leaders rely on you, and no two days look the same?

If so, our Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) team within Clinical Trial Capabilities wants you.

We’re seeking a Project Manager I—a dynamic, detail‑obsessed operational strategist who loves structure, communication, and bringing clarity to chaos. This is a sponsor‑dedicated, high‑visibility role supporting senior leaders and mission‑critical initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As the go‑to coordination and communications engine for the BS&O team, you will:

Drive Clear, Impactful Communication:

  • Draft crisp, compelling internal communications, updates, and announcements

  • Build and refine templates, newsletters, intranet content, and collaboration posts

  • Maintain SharePoint and internal communication sites to ensure the organization stays aligned

Keep Projects and Operations Running Like Clockwork:

  • Coordinate non‑portfolio projects—tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items

  • Support resource alignment and data tracking across tools like Smartsheet and internal systems

  • Manage reports, dashboards, shared repositories, and operational documentation

Own Meetings & Leader Support:

  • Prepare agendas, take high‑quality minutes, and keep stakeholders accountable

  • Partner with high‑level leaders as a “chief of staff–like” operator

  • Support large‑scale events, all‑hands meetings, and virtual sessions

Be the Administrative Backbone:

  • Handle systems requests, follow-ups, and day‑to‑day operational needs

  • Problem-solve across teams to remove roadblocks and keep workflows moving

This role blends project coordination, communications excellence, administrative rigor, and operational leadership—perfect for someone who loves variety and multitasking.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Required

  • 4+ years in project coordination, communications, change management, or similar roles

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Superb organization, multitasking ability, and a sharp eye for detail

  • Experience preparing, running, and documenting meetings

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Preferred

  • Background in communications or public affairs

  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals or biotech

WHO THRIVES HERE:

This role is perfect if you are:
✔️ Energized by supporting senior leaders and cross‑functional teams
✔️ A natural organizer with a passion for precision
✔️ A clear, confident communicator
✔️ Able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat
✔️ Someone who takes pride in being the “glue” that holds complex operations together

If you’re ready to step into a sponsor‑facing role where your structure, communication finesse, and operational strengths truly shine—we’d love to meet you.
