Job DescriptionThe Project Manager- Geothermal & Reservoir Engineering will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and health of our complex geothermal and reservoir engineering projects. This senior-level position is responsible for independently monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project performance, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to established project management methodologies, technical specifications, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of geothermal and/or reservoir engineering principles combined with robust project management expertise.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering (Petroleum, Geothermal, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Geological, or related field) from an accredited institution
- 10-20 years of engineering work experience
- Strong experience in project management, budget / schedule tracking, and staff supervision
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management within the energy sector, with at least 5 years specifically involved with geothermal and/or reservoir engineering projects
- Proven experience in project oversight, controls, quality assurance, or auditing role
- Strong understanding of the project lifecycle for geothermal power development, and/or oil and gas reservoir development and management (e.g., exploration, appraisal, development, production, abandonment, EOR/CCS).
- Advanced proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Monday.com)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with specific regulatory frameworks related to geothermal development or subsurface operations in various jurisdictions
- Experience with risk management frameworks and tools in high-uncertainty environments (Monte-Carlo, UnriskIt, etc.)
