The Project Manager – EPMO leads cross-functional projects and programs that drive strategic value across the organization. This role partners with business, technology, and operational teams to deliver enterprise initiatives, establish governance cadences, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The Project Manager is accountable for program health, risk management, and value realization, leveraging best-in-class project management tools and methodologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enterprise-wide projects from initiation through delivery, adoption, and value realization.
  • Lead and deliver enterprise-wide programs from initiation through adoption and measurable business impact.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines; monitor progress to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery.
  • Facilitate project and governance cadences (e.g., VVM, QBR, BODM, VCP) and maintain consistent operating rhythms across teams.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
  • Manage and support strategic partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to track Agile metrics, monitor release readiness, and integrate customer feedback (VOC/NPS) into planning and execution.
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve impediments or ownership gaps that block progress, leveraging the broader company network when needed.
  • Facilitate meetings, drive follow-ups, and ensure clear documentation of next steps, responsibilities (RACI), and decisions.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, linking program health to business value through dashboards and scorecards.
  • Prepare business cases, ROI analyses, and progress reports for leadership review.
  • Apply and continuously improve project and program management standards, governance guardrails, and best practices.
  • Learn and champion emerging technologies—including AI and automation—to enhance governance, delivery, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure predictability, quality, and alignment to strategic outcomes across assigned initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of Agile project management best practices and promote continuous improvement in delivery processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in work item tracking and project management tools, ensuring accurate and transparent project tracking.
  • Keep stakeholders and the broader organization informed of project status, achievements, and risks to delivery.
  • Support organizational efforts to institutionalize and optimize enterprise governance, portfolio management, and execution discipline.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related field.
  • Master’s Degree or advanced Certification preferred
  • Experience may substitute for a degree requirement
  • Two (2)+ years experience in a project management role
  • Six (6)+ years progressive experience in enterprise program or project management, ideally within PE-backed SaaS, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, preferably agile lifecycle management CAPM or working towards PMP/SAFe/CSM
  • Project Management certification desirable
  • Proven track record of leading multi-team, multi-release programs with measurable business impact.
  • Experience in a matrixed resource environment
  • Experience with cloud partnerships, compliance programs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience implementing and utilizing AI-driven tools (e.g., predictive analytics, generative AI, intelligent automation) to enhance project planning, risk mitigation, and decision-making within enterprise PMO environments
  • PMP and/or SAFe/CSM required Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
  • Working knowledge of software development project management, or IT Services (Cyber-security, software implementation), or healthcare IT services
  • Lead and deliver enterprise-wide programs from initiation through adoption and measurable business impact.
  • Establish and maintain governance cadences and consistent operating rhythms across the organization.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and strategic partners to execute joint initiatives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs ensuring predictability, quality, compliance, and value realization.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and metrics to link program performance to business outcomes (e.g., revenue, risk, cost, customer satisfaction).
  • Apply AI, automation, and best practices to enhance governance, delivery, and reporting efficiency.
  • Integrate customer and market feedback into program planning, readiness, and execution.
  • Identify and remove delivery blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment among senior stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on prioritization, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare business cases, ROI analyses, and enforce governance guardrails and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).
  • Champion continuous improvement and the adoption of innovative technologies across enterprise programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – at all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT extremely helpful

While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday

This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
