Zero is a creative studio founded in NYC. Our intention is to create an environment where multidisciplinary teams can solve problems for progressive and contemporary brands. We aim to constantly re-evaluate what it’s like to work with a studio and provide a high degree of value and service to our clients and our team.
Our studio seeks an individual with a diverse background and the ability to succeed with a wide array of motivated and creative individuals. We believe that process is at the core of our success - and are continually seeking to evolve ours to get the most out of each engagement. The unique and complex problems that face our clients call for fresh and strategic thinkers.
The Director of Project Management is responsible for overseeing the health, quality, and execution of all client work across marketing, social, branding, and web. This role ensures that projects are not only delivered on time and on budget, but are aligned with broader business objectives and executed at the highest level.
This role is less about managing timelines and more about owning how the agency operates — ensuring that great work is delivered with clarity, rigor, and consistency at scale.
Operating as the internal counterpart to the Accounts team, this role is the connective tissue between strategy, creative, and delivery — owning how work gets done across the organization.
Your primary responsibility will be collaborating and leading our team(s) to create the best work possible in an enjoyable, engaging, and positive environment. Specifically, within our Project Management team, you’ll be responsible for directly managing & mentoring 2-4 individuals, as well as helping to set the right team structure and people on all accounts.
You will be directly managing and overseeing key projects and accounts including being a primary client contact, so expert organization, attention to detail, and communication skills are a must.
As a leader at the studio, our expectation is that you approach the day-to-day with a positive, and solutions-oriented mindset. We believe the traits of kindness, respect, and empathy are vital to the role and a high degree of emotional intelligence and strategic thinking will be keys to success.
When you submit your application responses, include a quick tidbit of the most memorable client situation where you were able to grow and/or extend the relationship.
